Home cinema and AV installation
Hidden sockets behind the TV, speakers in the ceiling, a projector with no cable in sight, and a proper cinema room with lighting that dims on cue. We do the power, the cabling and the installation, so the finished room looks as good as it sounds.
Plan a cinema room
Choose a speaker layout, TV or projector and a lighting scene, then switch on X-ray to see every cable we'd hide in the walls and ceiling.

What we'd install
A TV wall with nothing showing
Wall-hung TVs look great until you see the cables. We fit a recessed box behind the screen with sockets, HDMI and data, then run everything down a conduit inside the wall to wherever the kit lives.
- Recessed TV boxes so the screen sits flush
- New sockets hidden behind the TV, not trailing extension leads
- Conduit in the wall so cables can be changed later without re-plastering
- Soundbar, games console and streaming boxes out of sight
- Mounting to suit the wall, including stud walls
Distribution points: the heart of the system
A connected home works best with one central point where everything meets: router, network switch, patch panel, amplifiers and streaming kit, usually in an understairs or loft cupboard. From there, Cat6 cable runs to every room in a star, so each TV, speaker zone, Wi-Fi point and camera gets its own dedicated run.
- Comms cupboard or rack with a dedicated power supply
- Cat6 data points in every room, labelled at both ends
- Ceiling Wi-Fi access points for whole-house coverage, garden included
- HDMI over Cat6 to send one source to several screens
- Spare draw cords and conduit for whatever comes next
What we install
Hidden sockets
Sockets and USB points behind TVs, inside cabinets and in floor boxes, so nothing trails across the room.
In-ceiling and in-wall speakers
Speakers that sit flush with the plaster and can be painted to match. Multi-room audio in the kitchen, bathroom and garden.
Projector cabling
Power and HDMI (over Cat6 or fibre for long runs) to the projector in the ceiling, plus the trigger that drops the motorised screen.
Cinema lighting
Dimmable scenes, step lights, starlight ceilings and LED wall washes that fade down when the film starts.
Blackout blinds
Motorised blackout blinds wired in and linked to the "Film" scene.
Structured data
Cat6 to every screen and games console. Wired beats Wi-Fi for 4K streaming and online gaming.
